Adopt the Arts Filming

Hey gang!

Just had an exciting week packed with wild events. I just shot an awesome video with some of the biggest YouTube stars, as well as, some very notable names in the music and TV world. Some of the gang included Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, Jane Lynch from Glee, & Tony the Dj from Ellen. The YouTube stars included the director of the video, Sam Macaroni. Shay Carl and Epic Lloyd were also stars. It was all to benefit www.adoptthearts.org which is helping to raise funds to pay for teachers and equipment to help teach music, arts, dance, and theater to elementary school kids. Over 535 elementary schools just lost all of their funding and would never have an art class or a music class. We stepped in to help make sure those kids get the arts in their lives. Here are some pics:

Magician's House

Alien Trees that bleed?

Nope. It's just a series of trees on the island of Socotra, Yemen.

Even though this looks like an alien planet, it's actually here on Earth. This is the Dragon’s Blood Tree. It looks like broccoli and it’s resin is dark red, so it looks like blood. I always tell people to travel. You have to see stuff like this in person. It changes your view of the world.

Rocks that move by themselves?

The Racetrack Playa is an awesome dry lake feature with “sliding stones” that leave linear “racetrack” imprints. It is located above the northwestern side of Death Valley in California. The stones move around though no one is quite sure how. Maybe it's a mentalist practicing? I'm a huge skeptic but this really intrigues me. What do you think? What's up ladies and gentlemen.....Wayne Hoffman checkin' in from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I just flew in from the Caribbean. I found this awesome article from a magazine from 1911. It has predictions of what 2011 will be like. Some of them are pretty damn accurate. Check it out and decide for yourself!

Heads Up!!!!
